For each fine art print being sold, I will donate 10% of the net proceeds to the children and elderly of Bali who are really in need of help. Your purchase will truly make a difference!

25% will go to Ibu. 25% will go to young little Putri and 50% to the Bali Children's Project.

I have lived for more than a year of my life on the magical Island of the Gods. It was a truly transformative experience for me. The beauty of Bali made me realize I should become a travel and culture photographer. The warm welcoming culture of the Balinese, and their beautiful smiles, made it amazing for me to shoot the most amazing photographs. I want to return my gratitude and thank the people of Bali with donations from these art works.

In that year, which was 2021 during C19, I saw so much poverty that it shook me to my core. Bali may be the number one tourist spot in the world, but that surely doesn't translate to wealth for all the Balinese. I have seen and met dozens of endearing sweethearts who truly need help to get ahead.

With just a few hundred dollars, we could completely change the trajectory of someones life into a happy, healthy and prosperous one. For example; a poor kid can go to school and a elderly lady can buy a matras to sleep on.

On my many early mornings tours of exploration to find amazing moments to photograph, I was driving around the ricefields of Bali and finding nothing. I drove and drove and drove. I was ready to give up and call it a day... And then I saw Ibu!

Her straw hat with the pink details, her colorful shirt, and her beautiful charismatic wrinkly face made me gasp out loud. After a long morning of nothing, God delivered me Ibu. I still thank the lord for spontaneously giving me the opportunity to photograph Ibu.

This is my 'Mona Lisa', this is my 'Steve McCurry's Afghan Girl'.

Ibu is a endearing word that mean's Mother in Indonesian. And this sweet old lady is the personification of being a mother: kind, loving, caring, funny, hopeful, and full of wisdom.

But, Ibu's living condition's are just horrendous. I could not believe my eyes that a adorable sweet old lady had to live like this. With the purchase of my art works, Ibu will instantly be upgraded with basic human necessities that we take for granted, like a bed with a matras. Can you imagine being that age and not even have a matras?

While exploring the mountainous area of Munduk, located in the centre of the island of Bali, we flew by on our scooter past an adorable kid. She was waving happily with a big cute smile. She immediately stole our hearts.

We drove back and came to say hello. Little Putri was so happy that we stopped for her and her family, that it really struck a cord with us.

This sweetheart was living in very harsh poor conditions, right next to the side of the road, far away from towns and schools. The sounds of scooters and bikes that blast past this poorly isolated house must be horrible. A child should sleep better than that!

We want to change little Putri's life, and for her endearing family, for the better. She deserves it.

Their slogan is "escaping poverty through education", and I fully agree. When kids go to school, their lives change for the better. With the foundation of school, they can prosper and thrive. Without it, they are bound to a hard life. And trust me, it can be rough to be poor in Bali. I have seen to many people struggle to just let this slide. We need to help the poorest and most unfortunate. Because we can!

The Bali Children's Project helps with building libraries, renovate school, stops abuse, and even helps kids with schoolbooks, a backpack, and even bare necessities like shoes.
