The Mission
I’m Marcus (39), a Dutch photographer on a mission.
Together with my lovely wife, we have been traveling around the world for over 14 years, and have been traveling full-time since 2020. The world is such a beautiful place, and my mission is to showcase that through photography and exclusive and very limited edition fine art.
I was fortunate to have sold my previous company (one of the biggest men’s online magazines in the Netherlands), so that I could finally go all-in on my true calling and passion, and fulfill my ikigai; culture and travel photography and fine art!
The Focus
My focus is documenting humanity, capturing culture, and telling fascinating stories. My photographs distinguish me from others because I capture unique, one-time moments that cannot be replicated. I always ensure that the subject, moment, and light are as unique as possible, making it a truly magical, one-of-a-kind moment captured forever.
I don't use AI-generated stuff or edit or add in Photoshop things that are not there. My photography is as real as it gets. Sure, I use Lightroom to make colors pop and remove dust spots, but all of these captured moments are of real people, real places, real moments and of real life!

Composing these photographs and turning them into exclusive limited fine art is a dream come true. My Superpower
My curiosity is my superpower. I'm deeply fascinated with how people live their lives, what moves them, and how they get things done in their own unique ways. Traveling the world and photographing culture and the most stunning places on Earth has been exhilarating and I will continue this journey for many years to come.
